Welcome
Originally from North Carolina I started my tattoo career in the Bronx of New York City in 2006 after I got out of the Army. I literally climbed up from the gutter in tattooing. From a hole in the wall in the Bronx to a better location in Manhattan, to now being able to work where I want. During my time in NYC I was fortunate to have been exposed to artists who, for whatever reason, shared with me knowledge about tattooing. That knowledge helped me to develop a strong foundation that raised and carried me in those early years of tattooing. Towards the last year of my time in NYC I also attended a number of educational workshops and seminars as a continuing effort to cultivate my talents further as both artist and tattooist. But it was still not enough, and in 2011 my passion drove me to up root again. I then left NYC to pursue a fine art degree from the Academy of Art University located in San Fransisco, California. I earned my BFA in 2015. Afterwards, I continued to stay in California's East Bay area for a few more years applying what I had learned, and honing my craft. Until finally, in 2020 I felt the call for home and decided to move back to my roots in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I am still located in Fayetteville, and currently remain a resident artist at Chop Shop Tattoo & Piercing.
